Parkinson's UK - Online Self-management Programme

Parkinson’s UK Online Self-Management Programme

We are pleased to announce that Parkinson’s UK will be running an online self-management group this autumn for people with Parkinson’s, partners and carers living in Northern Ireland.

These groups are great for people who:

are working during the day (many run in the evening)

find it difficult to travel

prefer doing things in the comfort of their own home

need to be on hand to care for a loved one

Our online self-management groups meet for 6 weeks by live video so everyone can see each other – which makes it feel very much like a face-to-face group.

You don’t need to be a computer expert to take part and the Self-Management Programme team will guide participants through getting set up.

The Northern Ireland online self-management group will run as follows:

Day:             Wednesday

Dates:          24 Oct, 31 Oct, 7 Nov, 14 Nov, 21 Nov and 28 Nov

Time:            7.00pm – 8.00pm

There is an additional welcome session a week before the group starts.

Places are limited so if anyone would like to register their interest in participating they can do so:

You will find an attached brochure explaining the online programme in more detail.

If you would like to find out more about the programme, please contact the Northern Ireland Service Manager, Patricia Jordan at pjordan@parkinsons.org.uk or telephone 0344 225 3682.
