Health Literacy Training
This three hour workshop will explore what health literacy is, why it matters and highlight the link between health literacy and health inequalities.
Health literacy is about our knowledge, skills, understanding and confidence to be able to use health and care information and services to make good health decisions (Northern Health and Social Care Trust, 2019)

The workshop is suitable for anyone who works or volunteers with the public in the community & voluntary or statutory sectors or who has an interest in health literacy or health inequalities. This may also be of particular interest to anyone involved in community planning, health improvement or neighbourhood renewal.
