The Northern Ireland Executive’s ten year strategy for children and young peope aims to make life better for all children and young people in Northern Ireland through eight outcomes: children and young people are physically and mentally healthy, enjoy play and leisure, learn and achieve, live in safety and stability, experience economic and environmental wellbeing, make a positive contribution to society, live in a society which respects their rights and live ina society in which equality of opportunity and good relations are promoted.

Health Inequalities Factsheet Northern Ireland 2023

Infographic summary of the Department of Health's Annual Report 2023 on the health inequality gaps between the most well off and least well deprived areas of Northern Ireland, and within Health and Social Care Trust and Local Government District areas. Data on eight health related indicators are presented: hospital activity, diet and dental health, pregnancy and early years, alcohol, drugs and smoking, mental health and wellbeing, premature mortality, life expectancy and general health, major diseases and conditions.
