Covid-19 and the Social Determinants of Health and Health Equity: evidence brief

This review explores the influence of social determinants of health on Covid-19, focusing on the inequities on impact, as well as the additional impact of overstretched health services, service disruption and isolation. The review argues that the social determinants of heath equity is needed to respond to Covid-19 and future pandemics prevention and preparedness. The review draws on a rapid systematic review of global evidence, with a extensive bibliography.
