This guide details nineteen engagement method and which are most appropriate for achieving different levels of engagement as set out by the International Association for Public Participation (IAP2) from ‘informing’ to ‘empowering’. This guide discussed the strengths, weaknesses and appropriateness of each method and includes useful tips to practically apply each technique.
