Health and Wellbeing 2026: Delivering Together

This is the Department of Health’s ten year strategic roadmap to transform the Health and Social Care system in Northern Ireland. It is based on the Bengoa Expert Panel recommendations, and offers a shift to a more holistic person centrered focus on prevention, early intervention, and supporting the individual and wellbeing.

Our Community Plan: 10 year plan for Mid Ulster

This is the first community plan for Mid Ulster area for 2017-2027. The plan details their consultation findings, as well as local data, and the Regional Agenda. The plan covers five themes: economic growth, infrastructure, education and skills, health and wellbeing, vibrant and safe communities, with statistics, action and outcomes under each theme heading.

Health Inequalities Annual Report 2023

The Department of Health's Annual Report 2023 on the health inequality gaps between the most well off and least well deprived areas of Northern Ireland, and within Health and Social Care Trust and Local Government District areas. Data on eight health related indicators are presented: hospital activity, diet and dental health, pregnancy and early years, alcohol, drugs and smoking, mental health and wellbeing, premature mortality, life expectancy and general health, major diseases and conditions.
