Effective Community Development Programmes: a review of the international evidence base

John Bamber et al.'s review analysed 216 international literacy sources (evaluations, literature reviews, discussion, technical papers etc) from jurisdictions with political, social, economic and welfare similar to Ireland and explored what lessons we can learn from publicly funded large scale community development programmes, focusing on programmes structure and governance, design and service content, implementation and delivery and monitoring and evaluation.

Preliminary Insights and Lessons from the VCSE Support Programme

This shared learning paper provides an interim review of the achievements and lessons learnt to date from thirteen VCSE projects in Northern Ireland, who had helped promote the Inspiring Impact resources and support other VCSE organisations across Northern Ireland to prepare for impact practice. The Building Change Award was part of the Inspiring Impact UK initiative, that aimed to change the way CVSE organisations and funders think about impact and embed impact practice.
