The guidance presents the linkages between social determinants of health and health inequalities. It examines a wide of evidence demonstrating the impact of social determinants on health, looking at family, friends and communities, education and skills, work, money and resources, housing, our surroundings and the role of the voluntary sector. The report identifies clear system levers, as well as potential partners and collaborative working, to enable the CVSE to make a strong case to policy-makers, funders etc.
