Disability Action Plan 2025-2030

The Department of Health’s Disability Action Plan 2025-2030 is split into two parts. Part A is focused on measures to promote positive attitiude towards people with disabilties, with 22 objectives, and Part B is focused on measures to encourage participation by disabled people in public life, with 14 objectives. The plan incldues actions and timeframes.

Examining the Social Determinants of LGBT+ Health and Wellbeing

Chris Harkins and Rebecca Hoffman's UK‑wide scoping review synthesizes nearly two hundred studies to examine how social determinants shape LGBT+ health and wellbeing, highlighting persistent inequalities and data gaps. It identifies priority needs, especially for adolescents, older LGBT+ people and transgender people, and recommends system‑level actions spanning surveillance, public education, targeted prevention, and professional training.

Health Inequalities Factsheet Northern Ireland 2026

Infographic summary of the Department of Health's Annual Report for 2026 on the health inequality gaps between the most well off and least well deprived areas of Northern Ireland, and within Health and Social Care Trust and Local Government District areas. Data on eight health related indicators are presented: hospital activity, diet and dental health, pregnancy and early years, alcohol, drugs and smoking, mental health and wellbeing, premature mortality, life expectancy and general health, major diseases and conditions.
