Non‑Communicable Disease Prevention: a collaborative manifesto for the next assembly

A policy‑focused manifesto outlining the scale of non‑communicable diseases in Northern Ireland and setting out 1fourteen evidence‑based recommendations to prevent avoidable illness and reduce health inequalities. It calls for population‑level action on tobacco, alcohol, and unhealthy food to improve long‑term community health outcomes.

Health Inequalities Annual Report 2021

The Department of Health's Annual Report 2020 on the health inequality gaps between the most well off and least well deprived areas of Northern Ireland, and within Health and Social Care Trust and Local Government District areas. Data on seven health related indicators are presented: hospital activity, pregnancy and early years, alcohol, drugs and smoking, mental health and wellbeing, premature mortality, life expectancy and general health, major diseases and conditions.
