Recognising and Reducing Health Inequalities: community development in action in a voluntary organisation

This case study explores the impact of the Elevate programme on a medium sized voluntary organisation that provides services for people living with dementia. Elevates workshop led them to thinking about the social determinants of health, and carry out a survey , which highlighted the inequalities for people living with dementia and the need for an organisational approach.

Connected: a community plan for Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough 2017-2030

This is the first community plan for the Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough area, covering 2017-2030, which was built on existing relationships, partnerships, projects and activities. The document outlines how they developed the plan, the vision, three strategic themes and nine outcomes. Under each outcome is the long and short term outcomes, indicicators, statisics and how they might achieve the outcome. The document also includes key statistics for the Boirough and links to Programme for Government.
